Peter Kim George (playwright - he/him) is a New York based playwright, alum of Ensemble Studio Theatre's Youngblood, finalist for SPACE Ryder Farm's Greenhouse Residency, and former member of The Actors' Studio Playwrights/Directors Unit.  Prior to writing plays, Peter completed a PhD in English Language and Literatures from Brown University and wrote his dissertation on novelist George Eliot.  Peter is also a freelance film critic, recent member of Film at Lincoln Center's Critics Academy, and teaching a course on New Korean Cinema at New School. 

Nicholas Polonio (director - he/him) is a Filipino-American director based in Brooklyn. He has adapted and directed plays including Late Fame, A Phoenix Too Frequent, We are Wombats! and Isaac’s Eye. He has assisted directors including Robert O’Hara, Tatiana Mallarino, and Knud Adams. Alum of the Williamstown Theater Festival Directing Corps, the Conservatory at Shakespeare’s Globe, and the Young Vic Genesis Program. 2016 YoungArts Finalist in Spoken Theater. BFA in Directing from Rutgers Mason-Gross School of the Arts.

Jenna Ng Lowry (stage manager - she/her) is Normal Ave's resident production stage manager.  This is her third season with Normal Ave.  Other credits include productions with Urban Stages, Parity Productions, SheNYC, The Fire This Time Festival, and recently Moby-Dick at the American Repertory Theater.  Jenna holds a BA in Theatre from Muhlenberg College.

Nina Goodheart (dramaturge - she/her) is a director and dramaturg passionate about creating theater that builds community, centers women, and demands an emotional response. Directing: Man of La Mancha, The Effect, Fun Home, and others. Assisting/observing: Jagged Little Pill (Broadway); Scotland, PA (Roundabout Theatre Company); Mary Page Marlowe (2ST); and others.

Sami Ma (Alice - she/her) is delighted to be back at Normal Ave! She was last seen as Margot in Lazy Eye. Other credits include: Vietgone, Gloria, F.O.B., KPOP, and All Hail Beth. Thanks to the cast and team, Normal Ave, JHA & Andreadis, the parents, and Maxito.

Helen Coxe (Linda - she/her) was last seen in Super Regret by Will Arbery. She holds and MFA from ACT. Member EST & ‘For people who love Ranch dressing’ writing collective.

Ariel is also the Founder/Board Secretary for Leviathan Lab, an award-winning creative studio for Asian American performing artists, as well as an arts advocate, grant writer; and Fortune 500 level graphic designer. |
