SHANNON MOLLY FLYNN (Artistic Director • she/her) is a New York-based Actor, Singer, Producer, Teaching Artist, and Director. Shannon's passion and empathy for the human spirit is what inspired her wild love affair with the theatre. Coming from a long line of storytellers, she found that this was her way of carrying on the torch. From the classroom to on stage to behind the table, Shannon has found talents in different focuses of theatre, all stemming from the drive to spread understanding of the human experience. JEREMY LANDES (Executive Director • he/him) is an NYC-based director, producer, actor and teaching artist. Recent directing credits include Completeness, Lazy Eye (world premiere), Den of Thieves, Bigger Animals (world premiere) and The Tempest. As an actor, credits include productions with MaineStage Shakespeare, TACT, Workshop Theatre, The Kennedy Center, New Wave Theatre Collective, Normal Ave, and more. As an educator, Jeremy has taught improv, acting technique, scene study, and audition technique at various studios across the Northeast and California, including MaineStage Shakespeare, where he served as Director of Education for three seasons. His work teaching master classes to young professionals and adjudicating performing arts competitions has been seen throughout the country, and his private coaching clients have worked at many institutional theaters and on television/film. Jeremy is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and an even prouder graduate of the BFA Acting program at Montclair State University.
PAIGE SCIARRINO (Associate Artistic Director • she/her) is a founding company member. Throughout the past year, she has been instrumental in curating and cultivating Normal Ave's "In Development" program, where she fosters the development of new voices in playwriting, providing resources and guidance to young writers. In addition, Paige served as the director of The Hashtag Series: In Concert, a late-night, themed cabaret series featuring Broadway talent. She is also an actress, artist, filmmaker and producer. Her debut screenplay, entitled “Rolling", which she also produced and starred in, was accepted into 5+ film festivals and is still making the festival circuit. Additionally, she acts as the Artistic & Creative Director of Writer in the Dark Productions, a film production company, with whom she recently finished production for her second short film with. As an actress, Paige can be seen in theater, on television, and in a variety of indie films. ELENA BARONE (General Manager • she/her) is an actress and a Founding Member of Normal Ave. What began as a way to escape from bullying, this Staten Island native found a passion and home in the theatre. As a tool for understanding of human behavior, Barone believes theatre can be used to bond diverse artists and audiences. Most recently, she starred as Maria in My Big Italian Christmas and My Big Gay Italian Funeral in Atlantic City. Last spring, she made her directorial debut assisting for Normal Ave’s spring show Den of Thieves. She is a proud graduate of Montclair State University’s BFA Acting Program.
NOAH BEFELER (Director of Marketing and Public Relations • he/him) is a New York and New Jersey-based actor-director-producer-marketer-Taco Bell enthusiast. Noah finished his BFA in Acting at Montclair State in 2017. MSU credits include Max Bialystock in The Producers, Tartuffe in Tartuffe, Russ/Dan in Clybourne Park, Tarleton Sr. in Misalliance, and Fluellen in Henry V. Noah has also designed projections for productions of Henry V, Chasing Immortality, and The Producers. PASCAL PORTNEY (Assistant Director of Marketing • he/him) is a New York City based actor. He completed his BFA in Acting at Syracuse University. His SU credits include Todd in Pterodactyls, Alex Moore in Buyer & Cellar, Claudio in Measure for Measure, and William Carlisle in Punk Rock. Pascal began his adventures with Normal Ave back in 2017 when he participated in their Pen to Paper festival, and his infatuation with the team and their mission has remained insurmountable ever since. This fall he will be joining the cast of the upcoming Off-Broadway revival of Stephen Karam and PJ Paparelli’s Columbinus produced by the Drama Club NYC.
KYLIE M. BROWN (Literary Manager • she/her) is a Brooklyn-based director of new work. Recent directing projects: little lives by Shara Feit (Furnace Festival, G45 Lightbulb series), Of the Woman Came the Beginning of Sin and through her we all die by Lily Houghton (EST Bloodworks), What We Made: Gone Missing Lobby Project (The Civilians/City Center Encores! Off-Center), and Painting Faye Salvez by Rachel Covey (NYMF, Northwestern). She has done short plays and readings with EST/Youngblood, The Muse Project, 7x7, and Two Headed Rep. As an assistant/associate director, she has worked with Liesl Tommy, Leigh Silverman, and Lear Debessonet, among others. Notable projects include Eclipsed, Privacy, and most recently assisted Leigh Silverman for the first fully female/non-binary creative team on Broadway for Lifespan of a Fact.
JENNA NG LOWRY (Resident Production Stage Manager • she/her) is a New York based stage manager. Jenna has stage managed for several non-profit theatre companies in the city, including Urban Stages, Parity Productions, and The Fire This Time Festival. She has also spent the past several summers serving as the stage manager for Urban Stages Summer Camp. Her first show with Normal Ave was The Dream of the Burning Boy in 2018, during which she fell in love with this company of generous, talented, and hard-working artists. She feels so honored to be part of Normal Ave's journey. Jenna holds a BA in Theatre from Muhlenberg College.
